Field Notes

Lichen, snakeskin, a dragonfly wing, mushroom gills, tree rings, and a butterfly wing are each examined at close range. Painted across six fragments of historic stoneware, Field Notes isolates the patterns and textures easily overlooked in the natural world, turning tiny observations into a collected study of the details revealed when we stop to look closely.
