I am an artist based along the Gulf Coast, working primarily with fragments of historic pottery collected from the shoreline of Mobile Bay.

Each shard carries evidence of use, weather, and time. Through oil painting, I transform these discarded objects into contemporary relics rooted in Southern memory, coastal history, and material culture.

My work explores the tension between erosion and preservation — what is lost, what remains, and the stories embedded within ordinary objects.

About the Artist

“Leave it better than you found it.”

My practice transforms found pottery shards into painted relics—merging archaeology, fine art, and storytelling.
