Air Mail

Inspired by the Masters Tournament, Air Mail gathers the details that become part of the tradition: a scorecard, the landscape of Augusta National, a golf ball in flight, and years of Masters badges collected on the hat of a lifelong attendee. Painted across four fragments of historic stoneware, the work looks beyond the tournament itself to the objects that hold the memory of returning year after year.
